County offices will
be closed Monday, February 19, 2018, in observance of President’s Day.
County maintenancecrews will continue brush and tree removal in the road right of ways on County
Road 159, in Oak Lawn Township between North Nelson Road and State Highway 18.
County crews willbegin brushing activities on County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 18, in Lake Edward
Township between CSAH 4 and Clark Lake Road.
Chipping of thesmaller brush, cutting and placing larger trees at the back of the road right
of way for property owners will take place at both sites.
County maintenancecrews may be working on one travel lane and shoulder simultaneously, creating
the need to close one lane of traffic. Signing, flaggers or portable trafficlights will control the traffic flow through these work areas.
Mowing of roadway
ditch vegetation will take place along CSAH 1.
County snowplowsare ready and on standby in the event of significant snowfall in Crow Wing
County.
