The Crow Wing County Highway Department is currently scoping the existing County Road (CR) 115 (Ojibwa and Nashway Road) from TH 371 South to TH 371 North. The proposed scoping project area is located within the City of Nisswa, First Assessment District, and Lake Edward Township in Crow Wing County, Minnesota. The total length of the project corridor is approximately 4.8 miles.
The project scope currently has no defined funding source and no planned year of construction. It is important for the public to weigh in on the road during the planning phase. A user survey has been set up at http://www.crowwing.us/index.aspx?NID=696. This survey contains important questions regarding the use and needs of the CR 115 corridor. Survey information will aid in the development of alternatives later on in this process. Project related information and a Draft Decision Scoping Document can also be found at this website also.
An informational open house will be held from 9-11 a.m. and 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at the Nisswa City Hall. This open house will introduce the public to the scoping process, gather input on user’s needs, collect information on existing problems not identified yet, and answer any questions.
Anyone having questions or concerns, which are unable to attend the open house, may contact Luke Wehseler at (218) 824-1110 or http://crowwing.us/index.aspx?NID=696 .
